Spellbinders New Release-Stitched Alphabet

Hi crafty friends.

How are you doing today? Are you getting some crafty time in to help fill up your cup??

Today, I am joining Spellbinders for their latest release of the Stitched Alphabet. I have used some stitched die cuts from Spellbinders before and I thought it would be interesting to play with some of the Stitched Alphabet letters on card designs.

This first card is a classic A2 and the big Stitched Ampersand demanded to be centre stage!

I purchased some glitter embroidery floss as I wanted it to be bold and contrast with the white and pink. Spellbinders gifted me the Stitched Alphabet Glimmer Descriptors which compliment these alphabet letters really well so, I hot foiled three of the descriptions in pink and placed them in places around the centre Ampersand.

My second card is a regular slimline. I can honestly say this card looks much better in real life than the photos. I found it very difficult to photograph because of how much white is on the card.

I die cut the letters Y O U and used gold glitter embroidery floss and then added the gold backgrounds to each letter. I then heat embossed in black, the words from the Stitched Alphabet Glimmer Descriptors.

For that detailed white backdrop I die cut one of the dies from my Spellbinders stash a couple of times, then glued them together to get some dimension.

If you want some versatility with bold words, I have to say these dies are really handy to have in your stash. I have a seen a number of designer on Instagram, also using them without any embroidery and some of the results are magnificent!

Well friends, I will love and leave you for now...see you again very soon
