My Designs- Fancy Edgers As I love creating pretty cards, I am thrilled Pinkfresh Studio have released the Fancy Edgers dies this month. It's nice to have a fancy edge on my cards especially because Pinkfresh Studio are well known for releasing floral stamped images. For both my cards I stamped the Beautiful Branch Stamp Set then used the coordinationg stencils to colour them. For the pink, I used Ballet Slipper and Sparkling Rose. For the lilac one, I use Sheer Freesia and Hydrangea. All the leaves are in Mint. I cut two A2 panels out of white cardstock, die cut the ends using two different edger dies then, splattered both lightly in silver. I matted these panels onto cooordianting cardstock panels that would compliment the floral colours. I stamped and die cut two of the sentiments from the same Beautiful Branch Stamp set then attached them overlapping the florals. To finish, I added the co-ordinating Glitter Drops. Well, I hope I have inspired you today friends, but I also hope I have got you in the mood to hop! - Floral Arch Box Card
Hi crafty friends Glad to see you stopping by today! When I saw the newly released Blooming Arch set , from Pinkfresh Studio I immediately knew I had to make a box card with it. I wanted to create the illusion of being able to walk through the arch and give it some depth to achieve this. I cut an A2 back panel using the Hearts & Stars Coverplate Die and attached this to an A2 card base. Setting this aside, I heat embossed the Blooming Arch Press Plate in gold foil. Using the co-ordinating stencils, I coloured the arch and florals in Mulberry Blush, Aquamarine, Evergreen and Gathered Twigs . Before I attached to the base that was already prepared. I die cut some background leaves using the Curvy Leaves Die . This pulled the colour from the florals. After die cutting the arch, I then proceeded to cut and score the corrugated cardstock that I would attach to each side of the arch. Each corrugated panel is 5" x 1 1/2" scored at 1/2" and 1" After gluing these panels to both the arch and the prepared card base, I added some hot foiled Small Butterflies . Then, I stamped that fab sentiment in Detailed Black attaching it to the back panel. Finished with some Gold Metallic Pearls and this box card is complete. t has fantastic dimension! It fits perfectly in an A2 Acetate box, which I purchased from Amazon many years ago and had never remembered to use! If I were to give to this box card to someone, I would wrap the acetate box in gift wrap for the recipient. Are you inspired? Are you going to give this a try? I sure hope so. If you do, make sure you tag Pinkfresh Studio! As my usual I have made a reel filming my process that you can find over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio and @cherylespiecreates Until next time fiends...
- Just A Note Cards
Hi crafty friends! Today, I thought I would share a set of little notecards I designed instead of a card. Sometimes, just to give a little notecard to someone can cheer up their day. It's a token of love, gratitude or affirmation and can give a lot of joy to the recipient. For my cards, I pulled out the Kindness in Bloom Stamp Set by Pinkfresh Studio. I liked that it has small single blooms in the set so I could use one on each of my notecards. First I hot foiled in gold, two sets of images using the Kindness in Bloom Press Plate . Then, using the coordinating stencils I ink blended the images in Fresh Pear, Olive, Sunkissed, Mango Sorbet and Passion Fruit. After die cutting them out, I set them aside. I had some mini envelopes in my stash that I am sure have been there for 2 years! The envelopes measured 2.5" x 3.5". Therefore, I cut four pieces of white cardstock each 5" x 3 1/4" scored at 2 1/2" plus, 4 white front panels that were 2 1/4" x 3 1/8" to frame the front white panels I also cut some kraft cardstock just a teeny bit bigger. On each of the white front panels I stamped the sentiment 'Just A Note' that's in the Kindness in Bloom stamp set. This was easily done by lining up one of the panels then leaving the stamp in the MISTI and just replacing the panel for each stamp. Then, I repeated this process for the sentiment inside the cards 'Thank you For All You Do'. After layering up the panels on top if the note card bases I added one floral image to each card with foam squares. To finish I just added just three little Champagne Glitter Drops . I love how they turned out. Why don't you give these a try, I would love to see what you come up with. Make sure you share your creations at Pinkfresh Studio too! Also, keep and eye out for my reel over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio and @cherylespiecreates Until next time friends...

I love the clean and simple lines of the florals and that when its die cut you have all the ephemera to design how you like. Here, I added them to the very pretty and brand new Fancy Rectangle Frame Dies . I did a bit of silver splatter to break up the background a little before addning the florals. There is a stencil for the Print Shop Modern Botanicals and I used it to colour my flowers in Ocean Breeze, Mermaid Cove, Tidal Pond, Lemon Whip and Sunshine. Luckily, the Aqua Gltter Drops matched perefectly! Well, I hope I have inspired you today friends, but I also hope I have got you in the mood to hop! - Floral Best Wishes
Hi Pinkfresh friends! I have a beauty to share with you today. And wow, it uses a ton of new products so I hope it will give you a lot of inspiration. Gosh, where do I start? First, I grabbed an A2 card panel which I run through my die cut machine with the Blanket Stitched Octagon Die . Then, I used one of the circles from the Braided Circles and randomly cut the panel in three places. Grabbing another white A2 card panel, I ran that through my machine with the beautiful Charmed Stitch Floral Coverplate . Using the ever popular Coral Reef, I ink blended all over the embossed panel. To ink blend the large panel, I used the brand new 1" blending brushes from Pinkfresh Studio. I am in love!! Those stunning flowers are die cut from white cardstock with the Garden Party Die , then ink blended using a variety of inks, namely Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz and Sage . To add some pizzazz, I also die cut Garden Party in the Champagne Glitter Cardstock so I could accent my florals and sentiment. Then it came to arrangement. I would say this is probably the most time consuming part really. I work in three's for balance. I mixed all the floral colours and petal designs together because I am rebellious like that :) I layered them up with thin foam squares and then added thicker foam square to attach them to the front panel. And BTW, that front panel is also popped up on dimensional tape so tons of dimension with this card! I hot foiled the Best Wishes from the new Here for You Sentiments Press Plate in champagne gold and then to finish, I added my favourite Champagne Glitter Drops . Do you feel inspired to use your new products? I sure hope so and, I am sure Pinkfresh Studio would love you to share your makes on social media. I know I would! As always, I have made a reel which you will find over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio and @cherylespiecreates so keep and eye out for that too. Until next time friends...

Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating the brand new "Here for You" release with a big blog hop! Remember to check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks. My Design- Playful Petals I am showcasing Playful Petals from the new release. I have made two cards, quite distinct from each other even though they use the same Playful Petals Suite. Make sure you also participate in the Instagram Hop tomorrow to see my other design! For today's, I masked off a border and lightly ink blended within the masked area using the brand new Pinkfresh Studio Large Blending Brush and Peach Fuzz dye ink. I blended a litte heavier at the bottom, going lighter further up. After removing the masking tape, I stamped the floral image directly over the peach blending with Pinkfresh Studio's Detail Black Ink. Using the new Here for You Press Plate , I hot foiled the Thank You in champagne. I popped this up on foam squares and then added some gold bling to the floral centres. I cut the edges with my deckle cutter which added a little extra something. I did not want it to be any more fussy than that. This is an easy card to emulate, so why not give it a go yourself? Well, I hope I have inspired you today friends, but I also hope I have got you in the mood to hop! For some further inspiration of this new release and, your chance to win click on each designers link below and leave some love. ....good luck!!
- Deck The Halls
Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends! I am back today and sharing a 5 x 7 card instead of my regular A2 size but, using A2 sized Pinkfresh Studio products. Sometimes, when using washi tapes I like to go over the A2 panel. I love to make it lush and layered. So, this was my solution, add the A2 panel on a 5 x 7 card base! Let's see how this card came together... First, I pulled out my very favourite Twist Pattern Die that was released recently. I cut this three times, 2 in white cardstock and the top layer in Glacier Cardstock . Using the same Glacier Cardstock I cut out an A2 panel with the Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die . I layered up the Twist die cuts then added these to the A2 panel. Background done! Everyone knows I am a big Pinkfresh Studio Washi Tape fan- which, at the time of writing this blog post today, shows some washi's are on sale!! So, no surprise that I used the brand new and very glorious, Deck The Halls Washi Tape for my main card focus. I cut two panels in thick white cardstock and adhered the washi tape. I die cut two panels so I would have plenty to play with. Then, proceeded to arrange the die cut pieces. If I am honest, this is really what takes the time with washi tape-taking the time to think about placement can really help for a great finished design. Some of the pieces are attached with thin foam squares, and others with the thicker foam squares. For the sentiment Pinkfresh Studio have just released this fabulous fonted (say that fast!), Holiday Greeting Sentiment Stamp Set . Arghhh, the font is amazing and reminds me of vintage Christmas in the Dickens era in London. I was tuck between two sentiments but ended up opting for this one. I used Calico White stamped on black cardstock then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Really makes the sentiment pop! I die cut a circle and popped the sentiment on top. I felt the sentiment just needed something behind it so it was not lost in the Twist Patter background. To finish I used a few Ruby Glitter Drops to draw the colours together. This card is a glittering festive design and I love how it tuned out. I hope I have inspired you today friends...keep and eye out for my reel over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio and @cherylespiecreates to see it coming together on video. Bye for now
- Holiday Street & Snowflake Shakers
Hi crafty friends! I have got some fun festive shaker cards to share today! In the brand new Magical Holiday release from Pinkfresh Studio was the most amazing Holiday Street Press Plate . There's also a stamp and coordinating stencils . I decided to use the Holiday Street Press Plate for one of my shakers and the new Radiating Snowflakes Press Plate for the other. I chose some shiny cardstock from my stash that had cool tones - I went with blue and mint green. First, I hot foiled in silver the Holiday Street Press Plate on the mint panel and then hot foiled the Radiating Snowflake on the blue panel. I wanted to give the illusion that it was snowing over each background so I splattered white paint over them both. I pulled out some shaker pockets that I had in my stash for aaaaaaages and had never used! I sealed these on three edges of each hot foiled card panels, leaving open one side to add some bling. Pinkfresh Studio has some of the best bling in the business and to add some of the bling into these pockets felt very indulgent but look fantastic in real life!! The pockets allowed for lots of movement of the bling which really helped. I sealed the tops of both panels then added the whole shaker panels to an A2 card base. Time for sentiments! The brand new Holiday Greetings Sentiment suite is perfection. The fonts are so nice and so festive. I decided to hot foil the press plates in sliver to coordinate with the panels. ' From Our House to Yours ' was an obvious choice for the Holiday Street shaker and the ' Greetings This Holiday Season ' has such a lovely design I just had to use it with the Radiating Snowflake shaker. Both shakers still felt a little plain, so I decided to white heat emboss the Amazing Things stamp set which has beautiful leaves on it. I cut the leaves up so I had some clusters to add behind the sentiments. I think this last step just added the perfect finish for these seasonal interactive shaker cards. These shakers were not complicated, so why not give it a go at making one yourself? See you next time!....

My Design- Deck The Halls Washi Tape Just look at this beautiful Deck The Halls Washi Tape ! It was designed by Dawn Woleslagle aka Wplus9 and who is also on our design team. Pinkfresh Studio sure know how to produce the best washi out there (in my hmble opinion). I have madea ton of cards in the past using wash ta[es by PFS. the quality is outstanding and can bring a card together in a jiffy. Its also incredicble value for money! For my design I created a double panel, one white and one in shiny green cardstock that matched well with the greens in the washi. On the green cardstock, I hot foiled the Diagonal Plaid Press Plate in gold. After die cutting out two lots of the Deck The Halls Washi Tape , I arranged them in the tope left corner of the hot foiled green panel. Giving the feeling of greenery and hanging baubles. Another must have from this release is the brand new Holiday Greetings Sentiments Press Plates . The fonts are magnificent and so seasonal, I love them! I hot foiled one of the sentiments from the set and added this to the green panel. The panels, the washi and the sentiment are all attached using foam squares. I love dimension! - Modern Geometric Card
Hi crafty friends I hadn't gotten the chance to play with this set before I went on vacation, so I was excited to pull it out and see what I come up with. I sometimes find modern geometric patterns a challenge in my card making and, I do not gravitate towards them. We all have our own styles, right? I decided to go BOLD to really show up the geometric pattern. I also thought this kind of pattern would also work well for a male card. The colours I chose were Limoncello, Mimosa, Begonia, Sage and Warm Buff. Using one colour at a time, I ink blended using the stencils on white cardstock. When I have stencils like this, I find it easier to use a large piece of cardstock in my MISTI and push it to the right bottom corner. Then, I push each stencil into the same corner. It helps line up everything perfectly. Once all the ink blending was complete, I die cut a panel with the largest of the Blanket Stitched Rectangles . What a perfect die for this! I chose four of the inks to ink blend rough patches on some white cardstock, then die cut the letters using the Jeff Alpha , which has the perfect modern font and, has lines embossed into the letters when die cut. This coordinated with the edges of the stencilled panel. I then popped these up on the white shadow cuts with foam dots. Before adding the word BEST, I did a quick splatter on the bottom right for added interest. The sentiment 'Celebrating You' is from the Beyond Happy Stamp Set . But, do you see the other stamped words at the top? Well, I took that from the Arch Florals Stamp Set. It should say 'You are the best', but I cut off the BEST so it fit for my design. That's me thinking out of the box! hahaha! To finish, I added some Silver Metallic Pearls but only three as I thought this card was busy enough. So there you go, a Modern Geometric Card for a male recipient, yay! As my usual, I have filled my process, so make sure you check out my reel over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio and @cherylespiecreates Until next time crafty friends...
