My Design - Floral Trio Stamp Set
Today I am sharing a mini slimline card and a coordinating envelope.
When you have a big beautiful stamp like this Floral Trio Stamp set, don't think all you can do is stamp the whole image and stick it in the middle of an A2 card.
My design demonstrates how you can partial stamp onto a card panel and colour it as you wish.
I used the coordinating stencils even with this card. When trying to line up the stencils not using the guides, just find a specific spot on the stencil that matches a flower or a leaf and the rest will line up beautifully!
I chose the soft colours of Fresh Pear and Sky Blue for my design as I knew I wanted to have a silver hot foiled sentiment and these cool tones would work perfectly.
That amazing sentiment is from the the brand new Wonderful Sentiments Hot Foil, also in this release. But, I used the reverse foiled option. The Solid Hot Foil Plate is a handy tool to have in your stash to achieve this.
Because I designed a mini slimline card, I decided I wanted a matching envelope. Therefore, I die cut some lovely blue 65 LB cardstock from my stash using the Essentials Mini Slimline Envelope Die Set. The envelope is soooooo cuuuuute. To finish I added some Iridescent Clear Drops and some white highlights with my gel pen.
