My Designs-Floral Border

Today for the blog hop I am featuring the Floral Border Stamp/Die/Stencil and Hot Plate product suite. Gosh, it's so lovely.

I wanted to design two different themed cards projects with this suite to demonstrate how versatile it can be.

As the festive season is upon us my first design features some traditional hues. I ink blended the background with Candy Apple and splattered with white. I added some of the newly released Ruby Glitter Drops along with one of my favourite A2 coverplate dies Simply Diamonds. To finish I added a seasonal hot foiled sentiment using the stash staple Perfect Sentiments-Holiday.

My second design features again some traditional hues but for Valentine's. You will see the hues have changed slightly because this time I used Passion Fruit. This is more noticeable when you see the cards side by side.

The leaves were a combo of Olive and Evergreen, though the Evergreen is not that bold on these designs. Instead of glitter drops, this time I added Pinkfresh Studio's Gold Metallic Pearls to accent the card. That big bold beautiful sentiment is the Lot's of Love die set that I die cut in shiny gold cardstock and matted onto white cardstock.

You can follow the hop for some wonderful inspiration using the links to the amazingly talented designers below!

Good luck friends!
