Alex Syberia Designs | Have an Egg-cellent Easter

Can you believe it is Easter in a few short weeks?

I thought I would share an Easter card today that will hopefully inspire you to get crafty.

This is a full sized slimline card and I haven't made one for a while. When I saw the little cute bunnies in the ASD Spring Bunnies Stamp Set that was released last month, I just imagined them jumping around in the air all happy. So really I needed to do a slimline card so I could fit all these cuties on.

I began by ink blending a slimline panel with Distress Oxides. Speckled Egg for the sky and Cracked Pistachio for a green base. The cloud effect was from a stencil in my stash. When dried, I splattered the cloud background with white paint.

On a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock, I stamped lots of images and coloured them with my Copic markers.

This did not take long and they were very easy to colour. After cutting them out with the coordinating Spring Bunnies Die Set, I began to arrange them in a way that I had visioned.

Have you seen that bunny and the strawberry balloon??? Argghhh, cute alert!

To finish, I added the completed panel to a slimline card base and added some white gel pen highlights.

I heat embossed the fab sentiment, which complemented the slimline design egg-stra perfectly (did you see what I did there?)
