Happy Sunday crafty friends! Today I am sharing a design using the Happy Hibiscus Stencil by @ginakdesigns   I coloured these beautiful florals in Light/Dark Lilac with some Blue Denim added to give extra depth. I stamped the sentiment and accent details in Slate because black looked a little too harsh. There's no matching die to this stencil (I don't think), so I fussy cut one of the florals and popped it up on foam squares for added interest. You will notice some added butterflies too, these are from the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp set also by Gina K Designs. I hope you get to do some crafting too this weekend! Until next time...

The 16th annual STAMPtember has arrived! Today, it's the special collaboration between @simonsaysstamp  and @pinkfreshstudio   I got to play with this exclusive set called Every Lovely Reason. It is a stamp, stencil and Die set. I coordinated my ink colours and made two versions because it's soooo pretty. The colours for both cards are Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Warm Buff and Doe. I just alternated the same colours for each card. The outline of the stamp would have been quite strong if I had used black ink so, I decided to stamp the whole image in Espresso instead. I love how it turned out. I only discarded the centre of the die cut image and kept the outer frame. Then I matted it on top of the Stitched Basketweave Coverplate die by PFS, which I had ink blended and splattered in gold ink. To finish, Champagne Glitter Drops by PFS always add that touch of elegance. As a suggestion, this stamp set would make a wonderful shaker card too. Pinkfresh Studio will pull the winners & post them on  February 19, 2025  on their  GIVEAWAY PAGE .  Remember to check that page & claim your prize within 2 weeks.   My Design- Classic Correspondence When I saw the Classic Correspondence Stamp Set I immediately thought of shabby chic using pink, grey and black dye inks - Ballet Slipper, Peony, Metropolis and Detail Black. I ink blended the images in a combination of the above colours using the coordinating Classic Correspondence Stencils. I die cut all the images and matted them, slightly off centre on black cardstock. For the backdrop, I used the Nested Ovals: Double Stitiched dies that are also in this release. I raised up the front panel over the oval die cuts to give some dimension. I added the images and a sentiment for each card. To finish, I added just a few strategically placed Silver Metallic Pearls. Hi crafty friends! I am thrilled to announce, that I have been asked to continue on the Pinkfresh Studio design team for another 6 months - January-June 2025! I cannot believe it really. I have already been on the design team for the last two years so I thought my time was up, hahaha! I absolutely adore Pinfresh Studio's quality designs and products. And, I get to be colleagues with some of the most amazing, talented designers in the business. I'm excited for what's to come as there have been a few changes within the team. I will miss Heather Hoffman and Lea Lawson but, I know they will be enjoying their own adventures. I understand they will still be designing so you will still be able to connect with them and see what they design next with where their adventures taken them :) The first release of 2025 from Pinkfresh Studio is coming on Tuesday January 14th so keep any eye out for all the sneak peeks and the Instagram hop. Hi crafty friends! Today over on Instagram , Pinkfresh Studio are celebrating the brand new "Gentle Greetings & Greenery" release! To celebrate the release Pinkfresh Studio are holding a wonderful Instagram hop and you have a chance to win prizes. I'm featuring the amazing Herb Garden suite as part of the hop. How cute is that tub for the herbs?? And that font!! and those little signs...arghhh!!! I know some of you may also be wondering how I did that back fence panel therefore, here's the deets: I scored a piece of cardstock at equal points. I then swiped the full ink pads Doe and Gathered Twigs over it. When dried, I then brushed PF white pigment ink over the browns just lightly. When all dried, I then just brushed a bit of Gathered Twigs on the corners. It turned out really effective. So go get yourself over to Instagram @cherylespiecreates and join in the hop! I used the press plate for my design and foiled it in rose gold. Using the cocordinating stencils I ink blended very simply Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Fresh Pear, Grassy Knoll and just a touch of Emerald City. The Thinking of You press plate also includes 'With Sympathy' sentiment so, I also hot foiled this is rose gold. One of my favourite Essentials die sets that was released last month is the Nested Recatangles; Postage Edge . I used this set to cut a back panel, then cut a small panel in white and pink cardstock. I offset the pink to bring in the colour from the florals. I foiled two stems but decided to only use one and centre it diagonal across the small die cut panel, adding the sentiment over the top. To finish, I added to Ice Clear Drops . just to accent the design. Well, I hope I have inspired you today friends, but I also hope I have got you in the mood to hop! Hi crafty friends Today, I want to share a card that I think turned out so pretty. I am a big fan of the Twist Pattern Press Plate & Die from Pinkfresh Studio. I love it for background dimension. It kind of reminds me of a garden trellis, so I used that concept for my design. First, I hot foiled in copper the Twist Pattern Press Plate . Then, I cut it out with the coordinating dies . I cut a of couple extras for layering up. I did snip the Twisted Pattern down so I could centre it on the cardstock panel.  I stamped the  Be Fearless Stamp set  and used the coordinating stencils to colour in the florals with Pinkfresh Studio Dye Inks: Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Berrylicious, Doe, Warm Buff, Gathered Twigs, Sage and Spruce Tips. After die cutting the coloured florals I placed them to the bottom left and the top right of the Twist Pattern background.  That beautiful sentiment is from the Here For You Sentiments . After stamping it, I matted some black cardstock to it, slightly offset. This is really helpful when you want to have the sentiment stand out a little from a busy background. To finish, I added some Leaf Glitter Drops and, white gel pen to highlight some areas of the florals. The texture and colours of this card really helps it feel luxurious.
