Pinkfresh Studio has designed and released some floral stamped images that are curved. Very classy! I am also pleased to say that some of the newlyreleased stamps pair great with previously released products. Here I teamed up the Circle Florals with the Nested Circles Hot Foil and the Nested Circles Die. To colour the florals, I used the co-ordinating stencils. In case you were wondering, that beautiful embossing powder is called Liquid Platinum and its goes beautifully with these warm tones. When I had all the pieces coloured and die cut, I then arranged them on an A2 card using the Essentials-Fancy Diagonal Stripes Cover Plate. Of course, I added some bling, but to give some contrast, I decided to use the Leaf Glitter Drops to bring out the greenery in the florals. Well, I hope I have inspired you today friends, but I also hope I have got you in the mood to hop! • Alex Syberia Designs | Thanks- My Life is Blessed

Hi friends! Today I am here on the Alex Syberia Designs blog sharing a card that is simple to make but looks really complicated! The basis for this card is the Floral Lattice Cover Die and Co-ordinating Stencil. I chose Distress Oxides for this design but you could choose any inks you have in your stash. I placed the stencil over some 100 lb cardstock and proceeded to ink blend, radiating the colours so they blended into each other across the stencil. When I was satisfied, I then die cut the cardstock with the coordinating Floral Lattice Cover die. I very carefully peeled the die cut away leaving all the pieces in place. Then, I laid Press 'n' Seal over all of the inner pieces of the die. Behind each piece I added a small foam dot. Carefully, I then turned this over and placed the pieces over a die cut card panel. It's so cool as it looks like the pieces are floating! As a main focal point I just added the Large Thanks Die in shiny gold cardstock. To compliment this, I also added a sentiment strip in black with white heat embossing from the Expressing Gratitude Sentiment Stamp Set. Of course, I couldn't just leave it at that, I added some black dots to the die cut background which coordinated with the black sentiment strip. Honestly, you should give this a try. The effect is so cool and the recipients will wonder how you achieved this magic! Until next time friends....

  • Pinkfresh Studio | Slimline Stamp Storage Solution

Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends Today's I am up on the Pinkfresh Studio blogpost sharing a storage solution for the Pinkfresh Studio slimline stamps, dies, stencils and washi tape collections. I have a lot of these sets and I am also a bit of a neat freak so, a durable storage solution was on the top of my list. These slimline storage pockets are unique because they need to be 12" tall to cover the stamp set completely. They are 5 1/2" wide which allows plenty of room for the stamp, dies and stencils. Supplies needed: 9" x 12" durable vinyl envelopes (I use the ones by Avery) tape measure, pen ruler, craft knife 1/4"double sided sticky tape (I use the red tape as it's so strong and invisible clear CD/DVD envelopes wide double sided sticky tape. Instructions: Measure 5 1/2" across and mark at three points. Lay your ruler from top to the bottom of the vinyl envelope, where you have marked the points. Press on the ruler and cut along the edge of the ruler joining the marked dots (do this very carefully, as your craft knife will be very sharp). Discard the smaller piece. Add the 1/4" double sided tape on the inside of the long edge. Peel off the red tape and seal the side of the slimline storage pocket. Take one vinyl CD/DVD case and add some wide double sided tape. Peel off the mask layer, the place the sticky side down on the back bottom of the already prepared slimline storage pocket. Voila!! I have also made a reel for Pinkfresh Studio that shows all these steps in action, so make sure you take a look. Sometimes it is helpful to have a visual demonstration. These slimline storage pockets are so durable and sturdy and come together so quickly. Hopefully, you will find them a big asset in your crafting space. Happy crafting friends...until next time!

  • Alex Syberia Designs "Thank You For Being My Friend" February Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hi friends Welcome to the Alex Syberia Blog Hop! If you are following the blog in order you may be here from lovely Caly Person The new release from Alex Syberia Designs is finally here! Oh my, what a great release! A true mix of floral and cute with great sentiments to boot! Love it! Giveaway!! To celebrate this release Alex Syberia Designs is giving away the full release bundle, valued at £280 ($340) in total, and giving away a £15 gift card to 2 lucky winners! A winner will be announced on the ASD Release Blog Hop post on February 20th. Alex Syberia Designs will pick winners to receive the prizes from the comments left on each designer’s blog. My Design- Spring Garden I designed a few cards with the release and today I am sharing and inspiring you with the beautiful stamp set called Spring Garden. This set has coordinating 4-piece layering stencils and coordinating dies, which I love! I stamped and heat embossed the Spring Garden florals with gold embossing powder. I used the same embossing powder to dip the Hugs die (which comes in a die set bundle), so they matched. With the coordinating 4-piece layering stencils I chose some peachy/orange toned inks for the florals and greens for the leaves, all from my stash. BUT, I didn't just leave it at that....I then got out my Polychromos and just added some extra detail ( I couldn't help myself, hahaha). In my stash I found some lovely peachy toned cardstock. I ran it through my machine with the brand new Tiny Flowers Cover Die. Those little pretty florals from the Cover Die were calling out for a little bit of bling. Therefore, I chose some greens and peach gems from my stash to bring my card design together. I hope you are going to join in the hop. Make sure you leave a comment on each blog stop along the way for your chance to win. Now make your way to the very talented Erin Thompson Have fun friends!

  • Alex Syberia Designs | Celebrate Leaf Backdrop

Hi crafty friends I am up on the Alex Syberia Designs blog today sharing this card that has a clean and simple design and, demonstrates how you can use die cutting as a backdrop for a card. When you have a stamp and die set you tend to have a main focal image in the set. Well, Create Your Own Happy stamp set by Alex Syberia Designs has many smaller images. Perfect for this technique, I stamped several of the leaves in different shades of green. Then, I die cut lots of leaves, some coloured and some plain white. I love my dimension so I layered up each leaf. Following this, I really just placed the leaves around an A2 card panel. I cut off any overhanging leaves which always makes me fidgety, but the effect is always pretty cool. Gold always stands out well with white and green so I die cut the Celebrate die in shiny gold cardstock from my stash. I angled it to add interest, then added a sentiment from the stamp set. I really like how my card turned out. Sometimes I feel the need to keep adding more, but sometimes less is more (if you know what I mean?!) Remember, this technique can be used with all of your stamp sets because you don't always have to use the main focal image to create a card. Well, thats all from me today my friends, see you again very soon!

  • Pinkfresh Studio | Spiral Circle

Hi friends, I am thrilled to be up on the Pinkfresh Studio Blog today sharing a modern and dimensional design using the newly released Spiral Circle Die. This is a really versatile die as it can be used to accent any project but, I wanted to make it a centre piece for my project. I began by die cutting three Spiral Circles. I also cut out the centres from masking sheets. I placed the masking sheets on the centres of each Spiral Circle die cut and the proceeded to ink blend over the edges. The dye inks used: Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip and Fresh Pear. To add some interest, I splattered some gold over the top and after they were dry, removed the centre masks. Using dimensional foam dots, I layered them up. It looked so cool! To make the backdrop a little more interesting I dry embossed the Lush Vines Hot Foil Plate on white cardstock, framing it with the Essentials: Blanket Stitched Rectangles. After placing the Spiral Circles on the background, with more dimensional of course, it seemed to need a bold sentiment centre piece that would really pop! To achieve this, I reversed foiled the brand new Wonderful Sentiments with Black Foil using the Solid Hot Foil Plate by Pinkfresh Studio. Of course, I couldn't stop there as I do like my details. Therefore, I patiently added Gold Metallic Pearls to frame the sentiment and add an extra something to the Spiral Circle centre. I cannot describe how cool it is to see the Spiral Circle all coloured and layered up, so you need to give it a try yourselves to really appreciate it. Happy crafting friends...until next time

  • Pinkfresh Studio January 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release

Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends! Today I am participating in a big Pinkfresh Studio monthly release blog hop as an official design team member, whoop!!! This release is packed full of stamps, dies, stencils and hot foil in true Pinkfresh Studio fashion. There is something for everybody in this release. To celebrate with us, why not join in the blog hop for your chance to win? GIVEAWAYS: We (eeeek!) will be giving away the full release on the Pinkfresh blog & YouTube channel. We will be giving away a total of TEN $25 gift cards along the hop. As per usual with blog hops - the winners will be picked from the comments. We will pull the winners & post them on January 31, 2023 on our GIVEAWAY PAGE. *Please remember to check this page & claim your prize within 2 weeks. My Design - Floral Trio Stamp Set Today I am sharing a mini slimline card and a coordinating envelope. When you have a big beautiful stamp like this Floral Trio Stamp set, don't think all you can do is stamp the whole image and stick it in the middle of an A2 card. My design demonstrates how you can partial stamp onto a card panel and colour it as you wish. I used the coordinating stencils even with this card. When trying to line up the stencils not using the guides, just find a specific spot on the stencil that matches a flower or a leaf and the rest will line up beautifully! I chose the soft colours of Fresh Pear and Sky Blue for my design as I knew I wanted to have a silver hot foiled sentiment and these cool tones would work perfectly. That amazing sentiment is from the the brand new Wonderful Sentiments Hot Foil, also in this release. But, I used the reverse foiled option. The Solid Hot Foil Plate is a handy tool to have in your stash to achieve this. Because I designed a mini slimline card, I decided I wanted a matching envelope. Therefore, I die cut some lovely blue 65 LB cardstock from my stash using the Essentials Mini Slimline Envelope Die Set. The envelope is soooooo cuuuuute. To finish I added some Iridescent Clear Drops and some white highlights with my gel pen. I hope you feel inspired to keep hopping friends! You can follow the hop for some wonderful inspiration using the links to the amazingly talented designers below! Just click the links and comment....good luck!!

  • Alex Syberia Designs | Love You Always

Hi friends I'm back on the Alex Syberia Designs blog today to share some Valentine's Day card inspiration! I think it was a given that I would find a reason to use the Hello Lovely Stamp and Matching Die Set again. This stamp is fabulous! It's big and bold and has a big and bold die to match. This is just what I needed for the card I am sharing because I wanted to do some partial die cutting. Big dies are handy for this technique as its easier to see where you can place the cutting plate to ensure an accurate cut. I have a reel up on Instagram at @cherylespiecreates which will show the technique in action. It's far easier to watch it than to explain here. Let's look at some of the details with my design. There is a lot of Copic colouring here, which my reel also demonstrates. The Copic markers colours are R39, R46, R89, G85, G94, G99 & Y11. I love to add detail when finishing up a card so here I added some white highlights and dots using a White Gel Roll pen size 10. To finish, I added some bling and a big bold sentiment from the same Hello Lovely Stamp Set. You get a more interactive card, but with not much extra time spent creating it that a standard A2 card. Please pop over to my Instagram @cherylespiecreates to see my reel demonstrating how this card came together. Until next time crafty friends....

  • Pinkfresh Studio | Frame It Up

Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends! As I am now a fully fledged Pinkfresh Studio design team member (I don't think I will ever get used to saying that), I thought I would design a card using the Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge guidelines. This month we are hitting the rewind button for the first challenge of the year by taking a look back at all the challenges shared in 2022. By entering your design, you have a chance to win a $50 shopping spree to the Pinkfresh Studio shop. But hurry, you only have until January 31st to enter the challenge! All you have to do is create a project using the challenge prompt as inspiration, then link it up. All types of papercrafting are eligible to win! Enter Here So can you guess which month I chose? I gave it away in the title really, but yes, I chose March 2022 challenge-Frame It Up. Reason being, it's my birthday month! For my design, I began by using the gorgeous Floral Border Hot Plate with Glimmer Hot Foil in Champagne. Then, I used the coordinating Stencils to add light colour. As Champagne is a soft gold I didn't want to overpower it with dark hues. Therefore, I chose the Pinkfresh Studio Dye Inks Ballet Slipper, Lemon Whip, Peach Fuzz, Ocean Breeze and Mint. Dye inks dry pretty fast so I was able to die cut the Floral Frame out using the coordinating die. Look at the close up shot above...can you guess what I did with that large Sending Hugs sentiment? Well, I hot foiled that sentiment with black foil! The sentiment is from the timeless Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate. It turned out so crisp and clean. Using the newly released Nested Rectangles Hot Foil, I framed up the whole design. As a finishing touch I added a second sentiment from the Floral Border Stamp Set, Small Foil Butterflies Hot on vellum and newly released Champagne Glitter Drops. I hope my card design has inspired you to join in the challenge this month! Until next time, take care

  • Alex Syberia Designs | Happy Day

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to my first blog post of 2023 as part of the Alex Syberia Design Team! I hope you all had a good time with family and friends over the seasonal period. Today, I am sharing a card that has some stamping, die cutting and some Copic colouring (of course!). I adore the Birthday Wonderland Stamp and Die Set, it's adorable. Who can resist that hedgehog and that face?....just makes me smile. To begin, I coloured him in with some brown hues using Copics Sketch Marker E74, 79, 53 & 57. For the present and scarf I complimented the browns with teals, using markers BG15 & 18. The little squirrel got the same treatment. As a rule, when I colour, I tend to look at colours that compliment each other to tie the images together. For the background I matted the Fancy Cover Die on to grey cardstcock from my stash. Then, I added some grey stripes. Reason being, I felt the background needed a little extra something, something. After spending some time on the placement of the images, I decided to pull out the wonderful Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. This set is full of sentiments to miss and match so that what I did. I stamped two different fonted sentiments and die cut them. Then, added them to my design and voila! Well, that's it from me today friends. I hope my card design has inspired you to pull out your ASD goodies and create something cute today! Until next time, take care
