Alex Syberia Designs | Thanks- My Life is Blessed

Hi friends!

Today I am here on the Alex Syberia Designs blog sharing a card that is simple to make but looks really complicated!

The basis for this card is the Floral Lattice Cover Die and Co-ordinating Stencil.

I chose Distress Oxides for this design but you could choose any inks you have in your stash. I placed the stencil over some 100 lb cardstock and proceeded to ink blend, radiating the colours so they blended into each other across the stencil.

When I was satisfied, I then die cut the cardstock with the coordinating Floral Lattice Cover die. I very carefully peeled the die cut away leaving all the pieces in place. Then, I laid Press 'n' Seal over all of the inner pieces of the die.

Behind each piece I added a small foam dot. Carefully, I then turned this over and placed the pieces over a die cut card panel. It's so cool as it looks like the pieces are floating!

As a main focal point I just added the Large Thanks Die in shiny gold cardstock. To compliment this, I also added a sentiment strip in black with white heat embossing from the Expressing Gratitude Sentiment Stamp Set.

Of course, I couldn't just leave it at that, I added some black dots to the die cut background which coordinated with the black sentiment strip.

Honestly, you should give this a try. The effect is so cool and the recipients will wonder how you achieved this magic!

Until next time friends....
